Ohtani threw 28 pitches in the first inning, seemed to struggle with his command, threw more balls than strikes, was throwing 98-99 though. Padres first two batters got hits and tatis scored on a sac fly. I doubt he is coming back out for a second inning but they said he was suppose to throw 40 pitches.
If thatâs what would happen, I definitely want to see them try.
braves are hosting the all star game, and the rockies could have more all stars on the team (sorta serious for the rockies, the catcher absolutely should even without the every team gets one rule and they have a reliever with a chance)

Wilson is 0-4, currently tied in the 8th. He was just up to bat, hit a pop-up to shallow right which dropped in no manâs land. BUTâŚthe runner on 1st had to hold in case it was caught and got thrown out at 2nd. So it was a fielderâs choice.

Yesterday Andy Pages got drilled and he was super pissed about it and that really annoyed our pitcher, there was sort of a confrontation but nothing really happened
Then today Tatis just got drilled
Then Ohtani just got drilled
Both teams got warnings
Roberts got tossed

itâs more the ones that are lower ranked and from the side donât track the pitches as well i guess?
like if iâm gonna watch a good pitcher, i want to see the break of the pitches and it seems like straight on does that better. the #âs 25-30 arenât nearly as âaccurate lookingâ as the #âs 1-5.

seems like theyâre fun to watch too, the indians feel like theyâre gonna always be .500 or slightly better but ugh they arenât fun to watch most nights.
The Rangers have definitely improved their angle. When the new stadium opened, they had a very high up and dead center angle which made it really hard to read the ball off the bat compared to angles we are generally used to (lower and a bit off-center).
