Honestly the Devers contract seems really bad and they donāt have to pay him anymore soā¦ doesnāt seem so bad?
Iām the only Red Sox fan I know that isnāt crazy upset about this.
Ownership and management are a total mess, letās establish that up-front. And a lot of the stuff that lead to dealing Devers is amateur hour. And I havenāt really looked that hard at the deal so I cannot say how much more we should have gotten for him.
With all that said he definitely had to go and given the current state of affairs I donāt think itās the worst thing heās gone.
