Can’t lose the human element.
Watching the Mets-Yankees game. They’re pushing 911 so hard that I’m expecting Bob Costas to fellate a soldier during the 7th Inning stretch.
Watching US Open tennis from the same city. None of that going on.
The patrons are starting to get a little loose, tho
You mean the same neighborhood.
Far out
If you enjoy challenging games I’ve a new one for you: watch a STL Cardinals home game and attempt to spot one fan wearing a mask.
Corbin Burnes threw 8 innings, 115 pitches, 14 strikeouts, 1 walk, 0 hits. They didn’t let him finish the game. Hader finished the no hitter
Kinda dumb to let him pitch the 8th if they weren’t going to let him go the distance, but still pretty awesome. Only the second no-hitter in Brewers history. The other one was 1987.
Some fans on the Brewers board are being insane, calling the decision to take him out “disgusting” and saying they are going to stop watching baseball.
EDIT: I get not letting him finish, as they are gunning for a World Series and at this point, health is the only thing that matters, but just take him out after 7.
The LOLrioles had quite a doubleheader against the Blue Jays yesterday. Coughed up a 3-run lead in the 7th to lose 11-10 in the first game, then went from being three outs away from a 7-inning no-hitter to losing 11-2 in the nightcap.
Oh, and the Jays are now tied with the Yankees for the second wild card after being 7 back three weeks ago.
Joke’s on you. The Jays scored 40 runs today.
Pretty good day for Scherzer…immaculate inning, joined the 3000 K club, and perfect through 7.
BB is still a thing?
Let’s go Jays!
Interestingly the BP Pecota forecast has this as a dead heat for the Jays, Sox, and Fuck Faces.
A three way tie would be fun.
Cardinals’ shortstop Sosa throws wildly to first base, hitting and bloodying the first base umpire in the face with a 75 mph throw.
Umpire stays in the game.
when you have infinite amount of Gary Sanchez in dfs :(((

That’s absurd. Dude is 5’ 8" too.
As a Blue Jays fan, I approve of that catch.
