Chris Bassitt of the A’s got drilled in the face by a batted ball tonight. He’ll probably be okay, but next time, the pitcher may not be as lucky. Another product of Rob Manfred and his lively baseball. They really, really need to deaden the ball to get the game back on track, not to mention to help protect the pitchers just a little bit.
It’s hard to understand how professional hitters can be this unproductive.The best teams have a more disciplined approach.The slugging and OPS numbers don’t lie.

Literally every day on the Padres radio station someone dipshit calls in begging for a player on the padres to call a meeting and chew everyone out to rally the troops with an inspirational speech straight out of a bad sports movie. Then the say the want the coach fired because he makes too many pitching changes.
