Yea those comments are especially dumb when it seems MLB actually had an investigation and took actions based on what they found. First time ever MLB doesn’t try to sweep a scandal under the rug and hope it goes away.
Did everything but say the words “cancel culture”. I’m sure he’ll have tons of people saying it for him.
He also disabled comments lol. He’s 100% guilty of whatever they found.
I’m not familiar with the allegations so maybe they are above and beyond what’s normally heard of, but if professional sports leagues are going to start excommunicating dudes who commit sexual assault then we’re going to have some pretty long “ineligible lists.” I hope this is a new standard that is applied consistently.
The HOF position makes sense, I guess, considering that assholes like Ty Cobb are still enshrined and celebrated.
