Major League Baseball (Part 1)

Blue beats red is what I’m down to in terms of my emotional investment

I am in shock

Wow turner was pozzed the entire game

Congrats guys but now you have covid

I am shook. The amount of gas-huffing smoothbrains posting their Facebook chemtrails rants about “analytics” has me on more tilt than usual.

I still remember my dad celebrating Kirk Gibson’s homerun against Eck when I was seven.

Craziest thing is this Dodgers team scoring with two outs and men on base. The entirety of my life it’s been Raul Mondesi and Shawn Green solo shots despite the team getting 8 hits.

They’ve been the dumb ones to trade away Pedro and let Beltre walk when he was just getting to his prime. This time they got them a Mookie.

Turner pozzed mid-game? What?

unbelievable. what the hell. game 7 would have been next week.

Wasn’t paying any attention but the sound of fireworks has alerted me that the game is over and the Dodgers won. Good thing it’s not dry and windy, otherwise setting off fireworks right now might be a bad idea!

Everybody hates Manfred. LOL

It’s unpossible you’ve ever sounded older.

He paused for a beat like Stern would but it was much more Jeb like. Stern actually reveled in it and no one really hated him.

Manfred even kind of looks like Bettman.

You got any hills behind your house with a lot of chaparral? I’ll head over with my haul and let’s have some fun!

Friedman is really a genius

People can talk shit on how big the dodgers payroll is but he built this team from when it had all those bloated contracts with aging, apathetic players and turned it into this team, which frankly has no weaknesses that I’m aware of.

And even during the rebuild they still were winning.

Still hate roberts tho

Sophomore year of college, so I can’t imagine I wasn’t watching the Gibson game. Was probably rooting for the A’s

I had the Dodgers and the Under and actually laughed when Cash pulled Snell. 72 pitches and the next 3 batters were a combined 0-6 with 6 strikeouts. Morons

I definitely remember watching the game, don’t remember if I was awake for the Gibson HR but I doubt it.

I do know that I don’t remember hearing the GOAT call of it until the advent of YouTube.

Im pretty convinced Cash was possessed by the ghost of Dusty Baker in that moment

Huh? Dusty Baker would leave him out there for 162 pitches and end his career.

2002 begs to differ.

And yes, I’m still bitter
