Look what just happened in the BC Premier election. NDP win with 47 seats to the Conservative’s 44. In 2020 the Cons won less than 2% of the vote and held zero seats. That’s a wild shift.
If British Columbia, the hippiest of provinces, can turn like this then it really doesn’t matter who the Libs or NDP have as a leader. The Libs is going to get smoked in the next federal and the NDP are going to feel it worse.

Yeah, but everyone knows that what white Canadians are demanding is that brown immigrants be banned. No one on social media is ranting and raving about white Americans moving here and driving up housing costs and driving dangerously on our precious highways.
It’s more nuanced than that.
Canada for the longest time was very pro immigration. If you look at the polls over time it completely flipped in 2022 when rents all across the country started sky rocketing.
Then youth unemployment is rising at the same time.
Countries that have less than 2.0 births per women need immigration to sustain their economies and make sure you don’t have majority olds in the future. Now the pendulum will swing really hard to the right.
I know all that. What I am saying is that the people that are kicking and screaming to clamp down on “immigrants” are not talking about Americans moving here.
True. They are probably fine with white immigrants.
