Does having it on the ballot in Michigan affect Congressional races? Maybe these sorts of ballot initiatives should be delayed in states where there is no winnable Senate race and definitely shouldn’t be wasted on 2023.

They could just put it on the ballot again in 2 years, but to add a constitutional amendment making it now illegal.
Michigan governor race is this year and winning that is important to minimize ‘24 Presidential shenanigans.
Plus abortion is going to be on the ballot for the rest of our lifetimes regardless, good to show that Ds are actually capable of booking victories and are taking it to the bastards rather than being incompetent losers and WAAF. Michigan is so favorably setup to secure a victory now that bungling it for two years would be demoralizing.
