Republicans are going to beat Dems to legal weed and itâs going to be incredibly painful to watch.
Iâd go as far as to say that not only do they not care, they donât want young people to vote. Young people voting en masse would be quite a threat to the power and wealth that the Dem ghouls that have been there for decades have built up.

That certainly explains their collective shrug when it comes to gerrymandering and voter suppression. Rich suburbanites can still vote, and everything Dems do is aimed at them anyways. Hell, drugs have been essentially legal for rich people for a long time.

Kind of want to see what happens if people are given the choice of legalizing weed but only at the price of enabling way more racism and how many people would choose their own wants over the needs of others. (I have low expectations.)
I mean seriously I think itâs not out of the realm of possibility that one of the few things Biden âaccomplishesâ in his presidency is enforcing federal law and sending in the FBI to shut down any state-level legalization. Total idiots.
Plus itâs a double win because the only solution is to vote harder for Dems. Maybe if there were more dems in congress we could fix this⌠itâs basically your fault.

If I wanted to show people what legalizing weed could do politically, I would find a state with a Republican-controlled legislature, take over the state Democratic Party, and turn state legislative races into a referendum on marijuana.
So Colorado basically? I have no doubt the marijuana push there had a lot to do with the state becoming reliably blue at this point.

I think Wisconsin makes sense. It has neighbors who have legalized weed. Republicans have control because of heavy gerrymandering. It has a lot of white deplorable-leaning people who might choose weed over racism.

If you didnât play along with this you probably donât get the reconciliation bill, or you get way less.
