He’s a lot more important with 53 seats than 49 seats and without voting rights reform dems are going to be in big trouble.
Last thing he was a hard no on was the min wage and that failed.
We will see.A talking filibuster doesn’t really do a whole lot of good if it still takes 60 votes to break it. Too much is riding on this to really be confident.
To be fair, he was always upfront about that.
He can be seen as the leader of a sub-party that includes Sinema, Kelly, and King. So long as that bloc provides the margin in the Senate, he has influence. If they don’t provide the margin in the Senate, that means that Senators can threaten to vote no from the left, putting party leadership in the position of deciding if they would rather compromise with Bernie Sanders or Joe Manchin, so even if Dems had 56 votes, he can’t be completely ignored.
Sort of plusses and minuses. Hes got a politicians ego and has to love the attention and the power, but he’s also facing a lot of tough votes for Senator coming from a +40 Trump state. Hopefully he views this as his final term, although obviously also plusses and minuses to that.

Sigh. What could have been.
Maybe it’s a different Bill Clinton
I’m sure Bill has a lot of stories about “empowering” women and girls around the world as part of the Clinton global initiative. I’m not sure how many of them he’d want to admit to people though.
That sounds like something QAnon made up.
These fuckjng tax returns, man… they should be public record. Besides, they are all part of the government. Such fucking drama over nothing.
This sounds a bit conspiritardy, but there’s probably a ton of eDems that definitely don’t want a precedent of making tax records public.
Oh, most definitely.
