The bill would also repeal so-called Roth conversions in individual retirement accounts and 401(k)-type plans for those making more than $400,000 a year. It would also prevent savers from using the âmega-backdoor Rothâ strategy, regardless of income level.
Sounds like you can do yearly Roth conversions (up to whatever the individual limit is of $6500 or whatever) if youâre under the income limit. Not gonna worry about it at this early stage of legislation.

I, too, donât understand why some people are upset. Is it just because she went to the event in the first place?
itâs because they feel sheâs starting to play the game. itâs standard grievance/emotion that they too could have been the peopleâs champion like aoc if they only got off their asses. itâs dumb of course, sheâs obviously better at it than 99% of other people. it already wasnât true four years ago when she did put in the work to get elected, although at least optically one could think that regular folk too are in proximity of being in congress. but itâs even less true now that she has built up public image that sheâs actually invited to things, and the armchair progressives are not.
Heaven forbid AOC do something fun that could potentially cross over to less political/nonpolitical voters/nonvoters that isnât perfect enough, whereâs the fainting couch?
