Any more dumps coming tonight.
I won’t feel good until I see Ossoff ahead on my TV.
I think this is the best thing. This could be massively important. DC statehood and a packed supreme court is now on the table. Things might actually happen in our government besides seating judges for like the first time in 10 years. This was the most important thing and its actually happening. We should be partying MUCH harder tonight than we did on election night.
I havent realize how much I was still holding my breath after election night until now.

Things that matter:
Biden can instantly confirm his entire cabinet
Biden can get all his judges confirmed
Senate committees can investigate all the Trump Administration crimes
Tax reform can pass via reconciliation
$2,000 checks, instantly
Obamacare can be reformed if the SCOTUS tries to strike it down
These things all matter a ton! Don’t give in to Chapo-style permanent despair/outrage/hate.

Let’s not forget they can stall seating Ossoff if it stays close. Franken took a lot longer than that and that was a much less crazy time.
Additional filibuster reforms should be on the table – Mitch did the nuclear option for Supreme Court confirmation, regular judges were already non-filibuster, and there’s now one reconciliation per year. I wouldn’t think abolishing it completely is possible, but adding a few more exceptions, or rules making it more difficult would be good.
Both races are going to be outside of the recount margin.
