The banality is so exhausting.
There was a recent episode of Hidden Brain titled A Conspiracy of Silence, talks all about how people lie about their preferences and how authoritarian regimes create the conditions for such behavior. All I could think about the whole time is that that is what we are seeing play out right now with the Republican Party.
Usually I have no problem finding words, but I just can’t for this. Simply amazing:

Lmaooooooooooo
omg it’s a sequel! HAHAHAHAHA
Also, it looks like ol’ Dan got his A license (that’s the “just past student status” level). Showing great AFF form with his rented student-sized gear there.
I…uhh… its…buhh…umm…jagsfan.gif
Some great replies to that tweet, and everyone is rightly shitting on Danny boy.

I can totally see Crenshaw as a guy Trumpists would embrace for a 2024 presidential run.
He’s going to need a bit of a makeover. He’s still a dog-whistler. He doesn’t say any of the quiet parts out loud.
I see him more as the guy filling the void left by Steven Seagal in the straight-to-video market.
One-eyed jackass.
Imagine this, but as a floor speech…
Mail-in ballots are way down so far. From GeorgiaVotes.com, there have been 314,499 mail-ins, 37% fewer than in the general.
Now, I’m not sure how that’s calculated. I don’t know if the site is basing it off of exact number of days out from election day or on “Day x” of mail-in voting (maybe those are the same).
EDIT: That number has improved, though. It was -60+% last week.
EDIT 2: So far, 12,000 people have voted in the runoff who did not vote in the general.
The constant anti-Warnock attack ads have really hardened my support of the guy. His comments on criminal justice reform (“mass incarceration is the beast”, “we need to free our locked up children”, “police brutality is the result of mass incarceration”) are completely spot on. He stands up pretty strongly for Palestinians also.
I just threw him $100. That’s the kind of guy we need in the Senate.
The attack ads are so weird. Even out of context, the quotes sound good to me.
The worst is that commercial with the upper-middle class white lady reading about the scary Black and Jewish candidates on her laptop in bed and how if they are elected, she won’t be safe. My son and I love that one and always make jokes about her being afraid of the “JEWBLACK.”
Stacey Abrams said on CNN that absentee ballot requests have tracked near the general (I think off by like 5-10%), and that some significant percentage of new absentee ballot requests have been young people and poc.
It stands to reason that we would be pretty far behind the general in calendar days before the election, since the timeline is so condensed.
Also, there must be thousands of huge signs that say “VOTE, ONE MORE TIME” all over Atlanta. Like, on every single major corner. It’s cool to see.
I bought Wolfenstein: New Colossus on Black Friday, so it will be interesting fighting lots of Madison Cawthorns.
what’s the breakdown on those? I mean, I guess it’s all conjecture at this point, but I don’t see who is out there that is motivated to vote for these two shitbag GOP chuds that wasn’t already hypermotivated to vote for Dear Leader. These votes have to be D by like 3:1.
