A critical part of CNN’s development as a corporate news outlet was the realization that they absolutely cannot let this sort of thing happen. Some nerd dweebus running buckwild over a captain of industry and pitching socialism on air was a disaster, they have since refined their formula. Someone like Carl Sagan never gets booked on CNN in 2020. If he does, Don Lemon or Wolf or whoever interrupts him within 15 seconds. Letting smart people who are great public communicators get on the air does not happen anymore.
One key thing about body language I’ve learned is the self-touch gesture. When you’re nervous, you rub your hands together, you touch your arms to reassure yourself. Ted Turner’s body language in that clip is just shouting to the world “OH SHIT I DUN GOOFED.”
“We are using money for the wrong stuff”.
CarlSaganGOAT.
Carl Sagan was only 62 when he died. Ted Turner is still alive at 81, and a is fucking billionaire.
Ted Turner only being 81 blew my mind.
Jane Fonda is awesome it’s pretty upsetting that human nature led even her into the arms of Ted Turner.
Don’t forget Barbarella.
yeah but are you a socialist?
“we are working to get her inside”

Random question: Am I the only one who imagines posters as their actual avatars?
How does that affect how you read posts by men with female avatars?
I do this frequently
