I’m a nerd but I would never buy a prebuilt PC, I don’t trust them to not put shit components in it. If you want to run solvers I don’t think 8gb ram is gonna cut it.

Could possibly save some money if you are trashing the old pc and can reuse the case/power supply. Could also save on the video card if you want to cut costs.

ran into a new type of deplorable, one of my ex-cow-orkers is a huge evangelical, total trump guy of course and basically gloating about RGB dying and how triggered the “leftists” (by which he means libruls, of course, he literally has no concept of a true leftist). Anyway, in his comments is a guy who is one of those “I’m not a trump fan at all” deplorables who of course always has a huge erection for everything trump does. Most of these guys claim some obvious lie like they used to be a democrat or that they would have voted for bernie or whatever, but this guy had a new one, he claimed to have preferred Yang.
the only thing that makes sense to me is that this guy is actually working in an active troll farm and they’re using individual comment threads to beta test new propaganda and see what sticks.
