The guy who got shot however was Patriot Prayer - one of the groups that is always battling antifa. They showed up later. Their leader, Joey Gibson, got chased to to hole up in a Chevron station and had to be saved by cops.
I don’t know any of yours apart from Tolkein so I can’t comment but of the authors I listed I’d describe them as fairly bad art that in some cases borders on pseudo-mystical nonsense, though probably good mindless entertainment if you’re looking for sort of thing.
Yeah, but you’ve got to have some sympathy with Canadians - it must be like living in a house that’s surrounded by the loudest and most obnoxious humans on earth constantly shitting all over your lawn, and there’s nothing you can do because they have all the guns.
I don’t really agree with anyone’s perspective here, everyone seems to be seeing it through their own lived experiences/perspective and they don’t match mine.

I dislike Bob Dylan. I don’t ever choose to listen to him. But I certainly am not arrogant enough to go and call his stuff “bad art” just because it isn’t my cup of tea.
