I think its important to see who regularly ends up on weird meltdowns that have one person against many. This tired as shit posting from today doesn’t happen without the ghetto blaster thread.
Being part of a good posting community involves being capable of introspection and giving an inch. Im not sure a certain person is!

It’s interesting reading this discussion. I’m with you, big time. If it’s been done, I do not care to see the latest spin on the motif. it’s hard work to find inspiring or enjoyable art sometimes, for us.

Uh, this is not exactly a settled issue in the United States.
Are any of the rest of you on Nextdoor? I don’t know how much of a bubble I’m in here in this bootlicking city. It seems like it would be less bootlicking than the average place, but I dunno, maybe it’s worse. My only other experience as an adult is in Berkeley/Oakland which is very different, but you’d expect that. The latest thread I’m in (well, I quit it) on racism (ie, Black people are the real racists) has me wanting to gtfo.
The only person I can think of is LFS, and based on what he posts it sounds like you guys live in the same neighborhood (I know you don’t even though you’re relatively close).
Actually, come to think of it, maybe spidercrab is too.
My closest Nextdoor neighborhood is named after a small lake, but does not include any of the half dozen homes that actually abut it, of which I am one.
LFS lives kinda across town. It’s a somewhat similar area economically, though I’d think it would run somewhat more conservative.
One person in that thread is wondering whether Black people should pay reparations to white people for freeing them in the civil war.
