This is a great, nuanced take. I would apply these ideas to internet pornography as well.
As the industry grows the growing number of casualties is harder to ignore.
My impression was that studios are going bust as it becomes more feasible to just do it solo from home. That seems likely to reduce exploitation (well, exploitation of the kind we’re talking about, I’m sure the platforms take a hefty cut of any sales).
