I believe it’s two hands holding a seedling.
WTF
Feels like I’m being leveled here…
It’s the NY Post and it’s not 4/1 - so I guess it’s true?
Wait, is that supposed to happen? Whatever I do to process writing happens too far in the background for me to be aware of what’s going on.
I hear words. I’m not always aware of it. But if I think about it, I’m definitely hearing what I’m reading.
You should read their editorial page.
The trick with those sound things is that “brainstorm” is lower (I think three semitones, but I’m not sure) than “green needle”. Some of the sounds overlap, what you hear is dependent on whether your brain adds/excludes the lower/higher frequencies, which in turn depends on what you expect to hear.
The original one was Yanny/Laurel, there are now tools (linked in the Wiki article) where you can pitch-shift the sound lower or higher, which makes one or the other interpretation a lot clearer.
I never could get yanny and laurel to work as clear as this one for some reason.
This is pretty great. Even though I don’t know anything about the context or who these people are, a cartoon where people in heaven are saluting a bombing raid is a clue that this is some straight-up fascist shit. It’s like I don’t speak the language, but I know who the Nazis are here.
My first guess is that the woman is Jayaram Jayalalithaa.
That might be wrong.
Dude on the right: Arun Jaitley
Changing the woman to: Sushma Swaraj
Dude in center: Manohar Gopalkrishna Prabhu Parrikar
What they have in common: All members of the Bharatiya Janata Party who died recently. It’s the current ruling party and is right-wing, so they love bombing stuff and saluting.
Opposite for me.
A V for Vendetta and Watchmen crossover joke. Well done!
Alan Moore would hate you for it but I don’t.
I mean, it is also just literally me complaining about my new wireless keyboard, but it’s all that too. I am large, I contain multitudes.
Let me preface this by saying I am not a hunter. I can’t kill anything. Even a bug. Went a couple times in my life and hated it.
Nonetheless, like so much this is a more complex issue than it appears at first. Many of the largest conservation groups support trophy hunting for economic and ecological reasons.
