Law and Order

Netflix has a series on Henry Lee Lucas. Amazing story. He’s probably a serial killer or at least killed like 3 people, but he went on a confession spree and police cleared 213 homicides based on his false confessions.

Check out ‘Audit the Audit’ on YouTube. The narrator speaks in a monotone voice to avoid inducing bias either way and grades the cops and citizens at the end. There are some pretty infuriating interactions, but the police actually come out looking OK once in a while.

Unreal.

Judge: I know it’s not your fault and we fucked up by not searching you like we’re supposed to do. But rules are rules, so I’m just gonna uphold that we put you in a steel cage and rob you of 15% of your life expectancy anyway

It’s like common sense isn’t allowed in our judicial system

I looked up Willie Nash’s photo and wasn’t surprised in the least.
