The Sunday Times reported that the centre, which is owned by Abu Dhabi National Exhibitions Company (ADNEC), was charging the NHS between £2m and £3m in rent to use the east London site.
Humaid Matar Al Dhaheri, managing director and group chief executive of ADNEC, said: “To be clear, profit has always been the furthest thing from our minds.”
Too close for comfort to my aging parents Bro and its one of those carehome that the staff travel from all over the city too, which means 4 different taxi companies and the residents I assume being from the local area… As it is across the road at the corner of 2 estates full of pensioners Carntyne & Greenfield which has 1 small hospital and ambulance bay, 500 yards away. 
It’s also the main roads to the motorways here, the only entrance and exit for like 6 miles.
Nightmare to have such an explosion here tbh.

### MP calls for investigation into 'false narratives’
The chair of the UK’s Digital, Culture, Media and Sport Committee, Julian Knight MP, has called on communications watchdog Ofcom to investigate concerns foreign state-backed news organisations are “disseminating false narratives” about Covid-19 through social media.
Earlier, the UK government criticised Russian state media use of “disinformation” after RIA Novosti reported that Prime Minister Boris Johnson was on a ventilator.
The prime minister’s official spokesman said: “That is disinformation. Our specialist government units have seen a rise in false and misleading narratives since the coronavirus pandemic started.
"It’s vital that any disinformation is knocked down quickly.”
So years of false narratives about the EU, no problem. A story that Johnson is on a ventilator rather than receiving oxygen - “Shut down the internet NOW!!!”

Chancellor Rishi Sunak next in line after Raab
