Why would she have switched to English to say that to her German audience?
She is quoting an MP - I believe the Tories‘ Deputy Whip. Not translating it makes it easier to use those words on TV, I guess.
She actually adds “I’m not gonna translate that now”

Actually, there were several PMs serving non-consecutive times; like Pit the Younger or the 2nd Viscount Melbourne.
Churchill is the most widely know British PM and he had non-consecutive terms.
Someone said they’re talking about the next prime minister as if he’s a toddler who has just gone in his potty on his own for the first time.
