Kinetic Wrist Sculptures

Anyone know why the fuck Brady is selling these? It’s not like he’s hard up for cash.

They all stole this from my dad, who’s been wearing a Casio you can put phone numbers in since the 80s

Might be a different brand

When I was a kid he would get so mad that I would push the illumination button and “waste the battery”

Like he’d get wise to it so I’d have to use subterfuge

Don’t you say that. Don’t you ever say that

Did not realize until today that the marine chronometer was invented by one guy who worked on it for 31 years.

I didn’t sell the book very well, but it was indeed a really interesting story.

I remember reading your post now and saving that book for my reading list but never got around to it. Knowing this, I’m sure that’s how the algorithms steered me back onto the topic because I had forgotten about it completely.

I’m reading it right now. It’s a good, bedtime read.

Do you read, like, actual books or an e-reader / tablet? Can’t remember the last time I opened a physical book.

I only read e-books, usually on my tablet or phone. Aside from access to nearly unlimited content, I like being able to have a backlit screen as well as being able to adjust the type size.
