also, here’s an 8F56 seiko (this is their most economical movement that qualifies as high-accuracy)
I have been seriously jonesin for a white aquatimer 2k for a while now but I’m too much of a cheapskate to pull the trigger
I’m not even a watch bro, and I kind of want one now.
occasionally reminded that not everyone who buys a “nice” watch really knows what they’re doing, some dude in a group I’m in posted a pic with his watch visible in the corner
now this is very obviously a PO. I posted a “question” as a subtle “hey are you also a watch guy” sibboleth and I think it just sailed over his head
Play bad, get there.
i feel that this is the most perfect watch ever created. please talk me out of buying it and wearing it every day
It’s too busy. Why do you need such mishegoss?
yeah. good. keep it coming. you’re wrong but thank you
Don’t you have enough watches? I mean, how long is your arm?
well now you’re hitting on a thought i was having. if i get the 5320 now, i can retire from watch collecting knowing there’s no greater peak to climb. i’ll have a small collection of top quality watches that fit any situation. but if i wait, i’ll end up collecting multiple other top tier watches before eventually getting the perpetual calendar, and then all those other watches i collected never get worn again. so in a way, getting the 5320 saves me a lot of money long term
it’s a financial investment. like replacing all my teeth with diamonds so i don’t have to go to the dentist anymore
I’d love to know what a routine services costs for a Patek GC.
https://www.patek.com/en/retail-service/services/service-costs
The cost is lower than typically assumed. The rates indicated below are the maximum end-user prices without taxes. They apply to full-scope maintenance interventions.
google translate into american says it means “you won’t BELIEVE our low low service prices!”
