Yes, I know you didn’t.
As a physicist I’d expect you to believe in the divine powers of the universe. The fact that we and everything else are all composed of the same stuff blown out into the big unknown by the big bang gives credence to this.

It’s fun to speculate but none of us are confident of making the right decision.
(I don’t think many medical experts would want that gig. Imagine if the operation went wrong).
Critical support for North Korea.
The thesis being change is always bad? Well, you did have three examples (one is possibly wrong and two involve change via a lot of bombing).
What I’m saying is that the expectation of change via something other than catastrophic war from probably the worst dictator in the world is highly positive. I’m legit amazed that there’s any pushback.
Kinda seems like Katie Tur dun goofed here. Maybe don’t drop a bombshell story like this unless you’ve got more than like two unnamed government officials?
Almost unfathomable pessimism/negativity, but like you said before, your superpower is seeing how bad things could get.
I’m wondering how sincere people have been these last few years when they talked about KJU and how they think he’s about to kill 30 million people. But yeah, unlike say Qadaffi, KJU is both nearly 100% bad internally and as a threat to other countries. No brainer. We shouldn’t like start a war and kill millions of people to get rid of him, but a natural death is something to hope for. He’s just shy of being so bad that it’s impossible to let him live. Being worse would be suicidal.
I promise not to “I told you so” when KJU lives and does whatever he does though. I’m talking about expectations.
If I usually get an eggplant and pork fat sandwich, I always go with the special even though I guess a restaurant might theoretically serve me a shit sandwich full of razor blades.
He hates the government and really hates dictators. I mean really, really…
I don’t care if KJU dies. Out of power is all I’m talking about. If he retires to Mar-a-lago and just golfs with Trump forever that’s fine too. Hate and vengeance have nothing to do with it.
It’s not only about the EV though, it’s about protecting the bankroll. You don’t put your house and savings on the line as a 60/40 favourite (or replace with your own numbers).
KJU already is door no.3. There was no turn for the better when his grandfather or his father died. Could things change? Sure, but empirically they probably stay pretty much the same. The most likely outcome is status quo after a short period of internal turmoil and power struggle. Not a great gamble if you live within missile and artillery range.
That’s not how we judge if someone was “objectively” terrible.
Yup. Kill a bunch of folks in cold blood just say “sorry Jesus” before you do. All good.
It’s probably a Yuri Andropov situation. You kids look that up on them internet thingys.
Or even Kruschev, and look who succeeded him.
So, status quo for the US is not really that bad with NK. Also, we don’t have that much risk. Status quo for SK and Japan is pretty awful now - they could be attacked any minute. A new person could be worse, but they mostly could be better. Status quo for NK almost couldn’t be worse. Like one might imagine that it could be, but even in a dictatorship there are limits.
What would be worse? His replacement just commits suicide? There’s almost no room on the negative side between KJU and suicide. Maybe there is literally none. And now maybe we have KJU on the throne, facing mortality, feeling like he has little to lose.
3 too many words in this headline based on my theory.
Six too many.
