Yeah itâs easy to draw false equivalences when you ignore the question of degree.
Some people here used to say the same about the USSR and UK back in the day, eg people at the top still earn more and have nicer houses than people at the bottom, all our media is propaganda and lies like Pravda etc etc. They seemed to struggle a bit when Siberia was mentioned though.

US is not NK. We do give any society anywhere a run for its money on how many people are in prison and how badly they are treated though. We put people in solitary for decades.

Well for one I think itâs pretty obvious itâs presented fairly tongue-in-cheek just based on the name of the tweeter but for another itâs also not presented as âLook hereâs how NK is better than US in literally every single way here are those waysâ but barring that yeah we agree. We donât execute people with Howitzers afaik.

Yeah this is totally unfair. Everyone knows that Canada is basically America Jr, only notable difference is like 20% lower GDP, 30% more gravy fries and 200% more hockey.
