Ya who knows what kind of source you can get for North Korea info and from what I can tell TMZ is reporting that he is reportedly dead so maybe there is more leeway to be wrong here.

I suspect the rumours are probably true or close to the truth, but we donāt have much to go on so far.
I have to believe the reports must be somewhat accurate. NK would be refuting and denying the reports otherwise.
For what itās worth thereās some YouTube blogging in NK atm and not 1 has said anything yetā¦ But how can they tbh, until there out of there.
Iām assuming we havenāt heard anything from North Korea because everyone that could potentially take over is currently participating in a Hunger Games style deathmatch with all of the other potential leaders

I think itās possible heās dead, but he was missing for a month a few years back and they said nothing. They donāt respond to rumours like this, Iām sure the Chinese people who count are in the loop and the NK people being kept well in line.
Itās amazing how in 2020 we have absolutely zero reliable information on anything that happens in North Korea. Itās like the only place in the world with such a total media blackout.
Yeah, virtual media blackout but still have a small cadre of skilled computer hackers is such a strange combo.
North Korea will be a more progressive country than the US if they have a female leader before we do. Wild times. (Yea, I know, sheās as likely to kill people as her brother with anti aircraft fire but still)

I wonder if thereās any chance of them just making a deal with S. Korea or China to essentially come in and clean house - but no prosecutions for past crimes as the key in the deal.
Zero. Iron law of institutions for one thing, plus itās not clear at all that the upper-upper echelons donāt live fairly sweet lives even by our standards.

Thatās likely true. Still, a competent administration has at least a chance to achieve something. Maybe stopping their nuclear program in exchange for economic aid. One could dream. Alas, we are stuck with the worst possible president.
