btw one thing to remember about the arab population in michigan is that theyâll go republican in a heartbeat if national republicans were just a little bit less racist. Whitmer was like -10% with them or something in 2022 and won by 11%. They arenât liberal at all, arenât reliable dem voters, and really shouldnât be pandered to as theyâre likely to break from the party.

Jewish shopkeepers in the 1930s really shouldnât have put their prices up and made things unaffordable causing suffering and hunger for the average german. It will inevitably provoke a response. They arenât going to just cede the economic landscape in that situation.

Itâs a damn perfect analogy friend. Jewish shopkeepers had exactly the same level of agency over post Versailles economic conditions as Palestinian children have over the actions of Hamas fighters. The response to both has been the same. Youâre only excusing one of the responses though weirdly.

I was going to mention this. Religious voters will eventually go to the GOP. Catholics were core dems in the first half of the twentieth century because mainline protestants thought they were heathens. That is why we were able to keep money from private schoolsâthe GOP didnât want it to go to Catholics. Time passes and the Supreme Court is all extreme Catholics and JD Vance is a 30-year-old convert. In another 10 years the GOP will decide Muslims are also People of the Book and invite them into their big tent of religious extremists.

Iâm sorry, I missed the part where the Jews started murdering and kidnapping Germans. Granting that the response of Israel has been disproportionate, what was the correct level of response? Like, what is your actual position? Should they have just not done anything and tried to negotiate for the hostages? Remember, Isreal released 1000 Palestinians for one soldier, so should they do something like that again and release all of them in exchange for the hostages?
Itâs the same part where Palestinian children did this to Israelis.

I agree that Israel should kill zero children. Assuming every Hamas member always travels with a child, they have a foolproof strategy to eliminate Israelâs military superiority. Checkmate!

The median Democratic voter is religious.
But when Trump has pretty much said heâll support Israel turning Palestine into a graveyard it is literally true. The Democrats may not solve the middle-east but they wonât joyfully go along with the program either. Unfortunately, the end result may be the same because it is the middle-east and it is fucked, but pragmatically, protesting Harris is probably the worst choice.
