Him looking older than he is might be a problem for a hypothetical POTUS run in eight years as a 68-year-old man (when younger-looking 68-year-olds could clearly run and get away with it), but I don’t think it’s even a blip as a VP candidate right now.

I’m Team Walz too. I think he has the best chance at really turning this into something more like a movement. I should add that I think that he’s also the most likely to make some gaffes along the way, because based on listening to him talk in some interviews, he is the most authentic and least pre-programmed of the crew – a good thing overall but has the potential for him to say something that causes some kind of issue/distraction.

Yeah, I didn’t mean it as a major negative. Just something that occurred to me as I listened to him. I appreciate that he doesn’t have canned responses and chews on questions a bit.
It’s what Iove about him. He unapologetically leans into criticism. “Yeah, what a monster I am for not wanting kids to go hungry at school and for people to have healthcare”. I wish more politicians would do that

According to multiple sources, the presentations Saturday may result in reducing the number of candidates whom Harris will invite for final interviews scheduled to take place Sunday. Most, if not all, of those interviews are expected to be in person.
Interesting. Wondered if there was any chance of an announcement today (though it would have happened by this point in the day I think), but it looks like that was never really on the table.
