The only problem with Walz is that he’s too old.
He’s younger than Tom Cruise
He just looks a little older than he is. He was born the same year Kamala was
Well, I don’t think we can say that’s not a problem at all.
Him looking older than he is might be a problem for a hypothetical POTUS run in eight years as a 68-year-old man (when younger-looking 68-year-olds could clearly run and get away with it), but I don’t think it’s even a blip as a VP candidate right now.
Walz used to wear this “hip” blocky glasses all the time until like 2 years ago which made him look pretty young.
I just wanted to tell you guys I knew him before he was cool.
How did the hipster burn his mouth?
You are correct. But, coincidentally, from time to time, where I’m from, Pittsburgh, gets asserted as being in the Midwest.
Sucking hot cock
I’m Team Walz too. I think he has the best chance at really turning this into something more like a movement. I should add that I think that he’s also the most likely to make some gaffes along the way, because based on listening to him talk in some interviews, he is the most authentic and least pre-programmed of the crew – a good thing overall but has the potential for him to say something that causes some kind of issue/distraction.
The defence is that he’s going to gaffe on something popular.
It’s like Trump with racism. His gaffes didn’t harm him because racism is popular.
Walz gaffing about unions or right wingers being weird or school meals or legal weed may be the same.
Gaffes affecting campaigns in the year of our lord twenty twenty-four
Imagine
I’m from f7cking Norway and even I’ve heard it!
Yeah, I didn’t mean it as a major negative. Just something that occurred to me as I listened to him. I appreciate that he doesn’t have canned responses and chews on questions a bit.
It’s what Iove about him. He unapologetically leans into criticism. “Yeah, what a monster I am for not wanting kids to go hungry at school and for people to have healthcare”. I wish more politicians would do that
Ate the pizza before it was cool.
According to multiple sources, the presentations Saturday may result in reducing the number of candidates whom Harris will invite for final interviews scheduled to take place Sunday. Most, if not all, of those interviews are expected to be in person.
Interesting. Wondered if there was any chance of an announcement today (though it would have happened by this point in the day I think), but it looks like that was never really on the table.
I’m ready to Build the Walz hype.
