Pretty sure Mets is Jewish. Dunno if he calls people unJews. I certainly think it’s very unJewish to be on the right-wing side on I/P. Racial/ethnic discrimination coming from Jews is horrific to me. And the right-wing side here is very commonly very open about their racism. They (many of them) assume all Jews think like they do (most don’t) and they’ll just tell me what they think of Arabs unfiltered.

This latest conflict has turned my wife into a cross between Bari Weiss and a Facebook grandma and I have to say I am not enjoying it. She’s barely on social media and somehow gobbling up and regurgitating tons of misinformation.

Do you remember anything specific? Her schtick is basically endlessly whining about anti-Semitism from the left while ignoring as much from the right and also equating criticism of Israel to anti-semitism.
Not sure how familiar anyone here is with Blake Flayton but I assume he takes a similar tact. He’s actually a family friend of my wife’s so I assume she gets a lot of her information and takes from him. I’ve read a little of his stuff and some of it is Bari-level bad while some of it is at least a little more reasonable.
At 1st she didn’t know the definition of toadie, after saying that gillibrand was a Assad toadie and couldn’t tell Joe the meaning so he brought up the meaning of the word on screen.
