I’ll weigh myself tomorrow morning.
231 pounds this morning so 7 pounds down since I started again on Sunday, obviously primarily water weight from reducing carbs and sodium. Will probably drop another 3-4 this week and then start my official tracking again.

A little high on the calories but had a really nice dinner that was worth it. (Grilled shrimp, homemade crabcakes with homemade tarter sauce, spinach and sprout salad with dried cranberries and crushed candied walnuts drizzled with homemade balsamic vinaigrette.)
Sounds delicious. If you had omitted the candied walnuts it would have saved a few calories.
Yeah but they are absolutely delicious with the spinach and balsamic vinaigrette. Just goes together perfect for some reason. I did skip the feta this time that I usually put on this side salad.
I probably should have had only 1 crabcake instead of two.

A little high on carbs today but had a burger bun and steak fries with dinner and it was worth it. Kept calories lower earlier in the day in order to do this.

Thank you for asking.
I’ve pretty much been holding steady on the weight, but not losing as I need to. And haven’t been rowing at all.
But I did just have my annual physical and my blood pressure was good so we reduced one of the remaining meds once again by half. My liver enzymes were perfect for the first time in 10 years, and my blood sugar and insulin were both good. My cholesterol numbers were ok but headed back in the wrong direction as compared to September when they were very good.
Overall, losing ~ 25 pounds has had a very positive effect, (or affect? It’s infuriating that I can never figure out which one is correct), but losing another 25 would likely mean no more blood pressure meds and no more CPAP. So I’ve got to get motivated and do this.

Remember: affect verb, effect noun
So “affect”, in the case above? I didn’t pay attention in grammar, or math for that matter.
The way you have it originally is correct (effect).
Conversely, you could say “losing 25 lbs positively affected me…”
I THINK. English is wicked dumb.

Your numbers you log are generally really good.
That’s because I only log when I’m trying. But let’s see if I can get on a roll again before I gain everything back that I lost.
You can do it!
Going to take it one day at a time again. Tomorrow’s goals: fewer than 1800 calories and 30 minutes steady state on the rowing machine at whatever effort I can manage without dying.
Can I ask how much you weigh currently?
