John Oliver regularly has compilation segments of cspan call in show guy.
CSPAN caller: âIâd like to know why Ambassador Yovanovich claims the former investigator was fired because he was corrupt, when at the same time what I hear from Rudy Giuliani and the Republicans is that he was fired because he was looking into the Bidens, which is also backed up by Joe Bidenâs comments in regards to thisâŚâ
How long is the break?
Theyâll be back at approximately :50 whatever time zone youâre in.
CSPAN was what demented olds and cranks watched for hours on end before there was Fox News. I swear they only had call-in segments just so we could laugh at the angry old lunatics.
Nunn is killing me in the Trump thread but man is he great to have here, thanks for all the updates!
My favorite CSPAN call in was the barely coded Dennis Hastert call out for being a child molester.
TY. Friend bugging me to watch The Mandalorian. Just enough time to give ep1 a shot.
Haha I almost went with that reference too.

H&I is showing DS9 in sequence. Just started the last season. Iâm watching episodes off my dvr during breaks or republican ranting.
Stone verdict=guilty.
Since thereâs some time before they come back, Iâm going to give a ratings update. Itâs not easy to tell how many people have watched day 1, but a certain amount of extrapolation can be done by educated guessing. Hereâs what we know for sure:
13.8 million people watched day 1 across CBS, NBC, ABC, MSNBC, Fox News, Telemundo, CNN, PBS, CNN in Espanol, and Headline News (on replay).
This does not count internet streaming (or CSPAN), and likely does not include DVR replays. It absolutely does not cover âthe showsâ and analysis. Here are some internet numbers gleaned from YouTube live streams of the full hearing:
CSPAN-1.2 million views
CNN-1 million views
CBS-695k views
Washington Post-164k views
PBS-571k views
NBC-350k views
Fox News-581k views
Fox Business-94k views
That makes 4.655 million viewers across the live streams for a total of roughly 18.5 million viewers. Those are excellent numbers.
The Daily Showâs segment has had 1.8 million views, and Colbertâs has had 2.6 million views. I think itâs reasonable to conclude across all shows/exposure/etc. that at least 40 million people tuned in to some version of news or saw snippets of the first day of the public impeachment hearings. A decent amount of the public is interested, and those were the boring guys.
One of my favorite movies hahahaha
Whatâs H&I?
The Dr. Bashir reveal remains one of my all-time favorite twists
