Along w/ the Burisma stuff, Giuliani has also been trying to discredit the black ledger by either proving that it was a fake, and/or that it was leaked by people who wanted to help Hillary (âforeign interference!!!â)

Lev seemed to work as a sort of jack of all trades fixer for Giuliani wrt Ukraine stuff, so my guess is that whoeverâs wrote the subpoena figured that if Lev knew about Burisma, he might also know what was up w the Manafort stuff.

Everyoneâs reporting mcconnell did in fact say this in the meeting.
It did get reported yesterday they had the votes for witnesses but did not have the votes for a witness (individually). Then they started wavering to lol no, then I think Mitt pushed hard enough to go back over.
Still unknown what witnesses or not they have the votes for though or if this whole thing torpedos back to LOL by the time of the vote.
The drama over this is fucking absurd, especially when you consider that everything thatâs in the public domain already. No need for a trial even, boot the bastard.
Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) indicated in a closed-door meeting with Senate Republicans that he did not yet have enough votes to defeat an effort, expected later this week, to call additional witnesses and evidence in the trial.

Itâs getting pretty late in the game for Trump to try and primary rogue Senators so even if a handful vote to convict (vulnerable ones running this year), trumps delayed and/or half hearted endorsement could depress R voting in those states. Helping both causes.
I still have a fantasy of conviction but it really seems unlikely. But would he accept censure with a high republican vote (12???).

I tried to get my mom to vote against her. Itâs hard to go against an incumbent. My moms pretty progressive even, she loves Warren, Bernie is easily her 2nd choice, hates Biden etc. But sheâs also you standard MSNBC/CNN watching retired type. So almost all her info comes from the MSM.
Iâm gonna have to see if the MSM attacks on Bernie are working on her. Sheâs a solid representation of your standard 60+ dem voter.
