Trump doesn’t see the difference between Jews and Israelis. He is that ignorant. He literally thinks they are one and the same.
And yeah making Judaism a nationality creates an informal registry of who they are in case the government decides to persecute them later on.

I’m not willing to go that far yet. I mean if it was Muslims then yeah that’s more likely because Trump doesn’t show the same animosity towards Jews that he does towards Muslims.

The Democrats who will vote against impeachment are why we can’t have nice things.
Impeachment very well could backfire politically for the democrats (although I remain convinced not impeaching is more likely to). If and when it does these idiots having personally voted against impeachment will do absolutely nothing to save them, and they are only contributing to the likelihood of it backfiring.
Democrats treat swing voters like they are morons and it costs them damn near every time. If someone is willing to consider voting for either candidate in an election, why the fuck would they choose the one who’s explicit pitch is that they will back down the moment a difficult political situation arises?
I feel like there should be an Onion headline: “Democratic Politician Wakes Up in Cold Sweat After Having Nightmare That Opponent Labeled Him a Democrat”

This is what kills me. Impeachment is clearly the right thing to do given the facts and circumstances. Take a fucking stand for what’s right instead of undermining the entire effort and maybe impeachment won’t fucking backfire!

The republicans are going to spend hours suggesting ammendments that will get voted down. Its very tedious.
I think they’re buying time. There will possibly be a big SC decision tomorrow that would release Trump’s financial documents to Congress immediately. Not a lock, but the high likelihood makes it smart to wait and see if they should hold new hearings and expand the articles of impeachment to include now-exposed financial crimes. While they could always have as many hearings and vote on as many articles as they like, I am fine with them waiting a few days now to see if they can turn this kill shot into an atom bomb.
