International Soccer: POCH

I was cheering for England as my 2nd choice after Germany for years. It changed since Brexit. :P

Enjoy the occasion, Iā€™m sure it will be something else to see especially being in London :v: and forget about the idiots, there everywhere unfortunately.

Those were much more innocent times. The rise of the BNP used to worry the hell out of me but never did I think they might one day be the power behind the government.

Denmark didnā€™t deserve to advance though. They were trash.

I thought the challenge on Kane was a pen, on sterling wasnā€™t

Yeah but the laws are only applied to who we want them to apply too, you know the wrong uns.

In a way Iā€™m glad my old mucker George passed away in 2012 before he seen them rise again, he left London after 1966 and left his brother down there, being part of the Jamaica community it was tough staying there in London.

The reason for leaving was that he couldnā€™t handle the abuse afterwards in the Bakers he worked in and no wonder as his stories were tough to hear at times.

Kelty just got promoted to the professional league this year and missed out last year because of our stupid SFA.

Kel-ha is Barry Fergusons team, old them player

Would have preferred one plane as an apostrophe, but Iā€™m picky that way.

So is it unusual that a Euro team gets to host all their games or is this just a covid anomaly?

There is usually a single host country. France hosted the tournament last time, reaching the final as a huge favorite. This Euro was a special anniversary tournament so there were multiple locations.

Well, arenā€™t they not uncommonly hosted in just one country?

The COVID anomaly was having so many different countries, imo.

There were supposed to be even more. At least Ireland, if not one or more others dropped out late on. Games got added in I believe England and Russia.

Yeah, youā€™re right, I forgot about that. I guess the multiple countries hosting was decided long ago.

Every European capital with a eufa approved stadium got an offer I believe

Pumped for Argentina v Brazil tomorrow.

Who do we think is going to get there?

I think its about as close to a flip as possible. Pre tourney I saw Brazil +300 and Argentina +305. Might have them switched, but basically even. Iā€™d give Argentina a slight advantage because home field without fans is basically nothing.
