International Soccer: POCH

Like Sancho is probably #2 in the world for wide forwards behind Neymar for me. Mbappe plays all his minutes as a 9 now, and I genuinely can’t think of anyone else even kind of close? Maybe Salah but he looked gassed all season and is near 30 now.

Saka is my current favorite player on my favorite team but saying he’s better than Sancho would be like a cp3>lebron take.

If we’re talking form, Sterling was dropped by City late in the season and didn’t play much.

Wasn’t aware they’d transferred to Munich.

Let’s see what the actual manager who sees them training together every day thinks about who’s best suited to starting the game, instead of people watching a vignette of the game on TV, shall we?

England! England!

England fans going from “Southgate doesn’t know what he’s doing” to “Southgate can do no wrong” in two weeks is hilarious.

They do cardio and set piece work in training. If you think what happens during an hour when someone puts cones out in the morning is more important than the last two seasons and ~6000 minutes of league/European football, idk what to say.

Apparently Pedri is playing for Spain in the Olympics. That is hilarious, idk why Barca would let that happen.

lol at thinking they don’t play and work on formations and tactics in game-like situations.

jfc

How do you think Saka picked up a “knock” in training that put him out of the Ukraine game? Corners practice? looool

1st time I seen him was last night and what a player tbh, hoped to see his skills in the final too as he deserved it.

And he makes football look so easy it’s frightening…

Barely? And those are done at like half and 3/4 speed and don’t have anything to do with who starts matches? This is international football. They’ve had like ~10 training sessions since the season ended, maybe 30 hours on the pitch including stretching and drinking water.

I love when you condescend to others when you’ve probably never seen a full 90 of Sancho playing for club and two weeks ago posted that you thought Eriksen still played for Spurs when he moved teams two years ago.

Saka, Grealish and Sancho are all very good! There is a reason BD wanted €120m for Sancho last year, Villa want the same for Grealish and Saka is “not for sale.” But the other two players are older and have done a lot more and had more impact in their careers than Saka.
And again, I say this with Saka being my current favorite player.
Saka could play great today and probably will. It’s tough to choose who to play between 3 world class talents.
But Sancho is the best player there and as I said, I would only choose maybe Salah ahead of him for RW in world football right now. That’s how good he is.

England is incredibly lucky they’ve gone from starting Ashley Young as a winger in 2018 to not being able to fit in 3/4 of Rashford, Saka, Grealish and Sancho.

man 2+ hours still. cannot wait!

Opinions about various players have limited value if you never see any games in the flesh, only on TV.

As I said, let’s see what Southgate thinks.

Ok dude. You’ve piqued my interest in these 1/2 and 3/4 speed corners now.
