You donāt understand much about football.
Talent matters ldo. Team play matters ldo. Big knockout games play out differently to league games which reduces the edge the favourite has.

He did ok against Ukraine but Saka likes to take defenders on from the off and sets a high tempo for the attack, which is important in a game where two teams could easily bore each other to death otherwise.
Saka is the only English player Iāve really commented about as being a danger (Sterling too obviously) and he looks as if he has the right attitude along with the skills, that kid is a danger with his smile alone.
I ordered a Saka kit this week but Sancho is the better player, even at take ons/dribbling.
Sancho was pretty underwhelming in his start last game, other than the occasional moment of brilliant dribbling. Saka or Grealish please.

Not on current form, no. If Southgate wants his team to start the game with confidence and a high tempo Saks is the player for that position.

Sancho had an amazing Bundesliga season. His form hasnāt wavered since he was like 17. Genuinely donāt think heās even had 2 bad games in a row. Imo heās Englandās best player overall.
Sancho is better at pressing than Saka. His pressures/regains are like triple Saka.
