This is because Messi doesn’t inspire them.
Spain are not looking like contenders to me on the strength of that performance.
Mo Johnston was legit top quality striker.
Joe Jordan’s the man just for his balls out ability to just fkn get something done!
Steve Archibald was never ever top notch. Well, maybe in Scotland.
France and Germany tomorrow, should be fun

an elephant’s brain is 5x the size of a human brain. i’m betting with the elephant
They never were contenders with their attackers. In recent tournaments they had David Silva and fabregas on the bench. Now they are starting guys playing at europa league clubs who wouldn’t start at bottom half PL clubs.
I’m not super confident France will win tomorrow, but being able to get 2.55 on them is insane.
Hopefully a slaughter. Allez les Bleus !

Portugal V Hungary is a tasty game so far.
Canada has a massive game to get into the final CONCACAF stage tonight, think it will be on paramount+ if anyone is interested.
USMNT starting WCQ is brutal (likely @ El Salvador, Canada, @ Honduras). Even Mexico has something like 1 or 2 wins in the past 20 years in El Salvador or Honduras. Those games are brutal. 6 points would be very, very good.
Konrad going to Marseille too, just so much good fucking news for the USMNT right now.
Hungary just not the same since they got rid of their goalie who looks like a middle aged bloke who had been hanging out at the pub and threw on sweatpants for the match.
It’s a very rudimentary way of looking at things, but I was checking out the full market values for nat’l team squads in Copa America, and if you compare USA’s (about 245 million lbs iirc) it compares quite favorably and would be tied for 4th with Colombia and behind only Brazil/Arg/Uru, and would be well ahead of the other 6 CONMEBOL squads. Even Canada at 140 milly would be about 5th most valuable in CONMEBOL, but their value is a bit more deceptive since it’s so heavily weighted towards 2 guys.
For comparison, a team like Hungary has a squad valued at only 67 million.
Anyway, the point is that the potential to be close to an elite team is there, but now all those young guys need to keep developing and gel together at the nat’l. team level.
#10 for portugal commits two yellow card level tackles in one play, receives 0.
Is the ref from CONCACAF?
fuck off Ronaldo
also, for copa America this seems bad:

No7 is human after all…
Hungary came out kicking & forgot the Portuguese like those games too
Lame ass goal for a lame ass game.
Perfect finish by Orban in more ways than one…
HAHAHA HA
Even better now
Commentator in USA saying that’s not a penalty.
Um, that’s obviously a fucking penalty bro.
