She was awesome during the Obamacare fight, but this shit is inexcusable. These last few months have demolished whatever goodwill we had.
She has an approval rating worse than donald fucking trump at 39ish percent the last several months. And shes the one the nunnehi’s of the world think is going to lead us to some magical impeachment or 25th scenario. Hahahahaha. We are so absolutely fucked.
My theory is that Joe Crowley was her chosen successor and when he was defeated by AOC, it broke something inside her. Like when 9/11 was a traumatic event that made some people turn rightward. AOC was her personal 9/11.
I basically got kicked out of a liberal Facebook group over it. They were very pro-Pelosi and said we needed her leadership and experience now more than ever, and I was just an arrogant millennial child who thought he knew better than the grownups. It got ugly from there, and I basically saw my way out when I was no longer welcome. I’d love to see how they feel about Pelosi now, but I’m not in touch and I assume their takes would be similar to nunnehi’s… Any day now she’s going to spring the trap and WEGOTHIM.gif!!!

If Pelosi were to go after impeachment, would it work? I know the Senate is never doing it but I mean in the House. I assume there’s probably a lot of Democrats worried about losing elections if they are actually forced to make a choice to impeach. Pelosi sucks but I always got the gist that was what concerned her- Democrats losing elections at the local and state levels.
Here’s another thing I wonder about. Is there really any difference between Trump being in office or Pence? Like is Pence gonna end all the crap Trump’s doing? I doubt it. So why not just let Trump be POTUS and rage on Twitter. At least it would alert others as to how bad this administration is. With Pence in office, the same shit happens but no one is talking about it. That’s why W was so dangerous. He played the folksy guy that liked to clear brush on his property being a cowboy. Imagine if Bush had the same temperament as Trump. He probably doesn’t get elected in 2004.
It should work in the same way the kid smashing every button in the elevator and then jumping out works: it causes a bunch of extra work and makes shit super annoying. Pigs squeal, unforced errors get made, new documents and crimes come to light. Any Dems that are against because they think it will cost them an otherwise winnable election should just walk into the ocean.

They should push the small amount of power they have to the absolute brink. Instead, they aren’t doing a single fuckin’ thing. That’s why I’m bearish on every Dem candidate–afaict, none of them have the balls to do what needs to be done. It’s not free tuition or lower drug prices. They need to play even dirtier and kill this Russian-financed cancer that calls itself a political party.

It forces the administration into defense mode, creates a series of hearings that will look very bad for Trump, and puts the GOP’s widespread willingness to carry water for Trump on center stage when they acquit him in the Senate.
Either Trump claims exoneration because the Senate acquitted him, or he claims exoneration because after four years of digging the Democrats couldn’t even manage to find anything worth impeaching him for in their own judgment.
Dems can’t have it both ways. You can’t rail against his corruption and criminality, but then decline to impeach. That makes you full of shit, one way or another, and everyone knows it.
She’s concerned with keeping her own power. What’s the point in having those seats if they can’t take a tough vote on anything? How the hell do they expect to win those seats again if liberals are too pissed at them to turn out and vote? It’s a total disaster politically to be bumbling around like this. Most of these people ran on getting oversight power and holding Trump accountable, they won, and now leadership is waffling on doing any of that supposedly for the good of those politicians??? Pelosi needs to GTFOH with that weak shit.
Yes. Pence has an ability to feel shame (which is good for America), and Pence is more competent (there are pros and cons). Pence also rates to be less of an authoritarian than Trump.
Because he’s going to abuse the powers of the office left and right, including in regards to the 2020 election. We’re way more likely to lose to Trump in 2020 than to Pence.
