I’ve been thinking about what the right response is to ICE Vans and I think the Portland people are absolutely right.
My idea would be to have a roving Pride Parade. Whenever ICE shows up just set up a van across the street blasting EDM Music with a bunch of beefcakes in leather and cod pieces

Portland is doing the right thing currently, if elections are actually cancelled or tampered with then violence is probably the only viable measure and I’m talking violence that actually puts fear into the enemy, not violence that is welcomed and used as an excuse to make things worse.
I don’t know that that is possible. They have the entire fucking armed forces at their disposal.
Nonviolence is the right approach. There will be violence enough.

I’m gonna take a wild guess and say the citizenry has vastly more guns than the military. Bombs no, guns yes. There are also way more people than military. And a lot of what’s being planned will be illegal orders meaning the military does not have to follow them. If the right kind of bad happens, things will get ugly nearly everywhere quickly.
Military has been avoiding any sort of citizen contact. It’s still the police and ICE committing the civilian brutality.
You can’t guard everyone’s families.
The word “violence” called to NBZ like the bat signal.

Lucky it was just the dog. Trump seems increasingly desperate to find people he can have shot, not just arrested.
Trained military with APC and helicopter support will make mince meat out of any armed civilians. If it ever comes to a civil uprising against Trump you better hope that the military refuses to get involved or goes against Trump.

That’s why you use drones, molotovs vs vehicles, or bolt action rifles from cover and distance.

I am always amazed about Americans that think armed civilians stand any chance in urban warfare against trained professionals that fought in Iraq and Afghanistan. The odds of you hitting a moving target before being seen is low, the odds of you avoiding their return fire and then escape is almost zero.
