Not a super close connection, but I got an email from a close friend yesterday about a gofundme for legal help for someone in detention in the family of his mom’s house cleaner.
oh, absolutely, my wife works with kids and she’s having trouble meeting with parents (there has been zero activity from the task force at all in the part of town she’s in but the parents aren’t taking any unnecessary chances)
it’s just that the feds here are at least trying not to raise the temp in that regard (I think)
Of course I could be wrong and they’re just waiting for something else before turning up the heat here.
