There is, of course, a difference between an evangelical church and its members, who are likely to be typical Trumpers. I’m sure that, much like with the Catholic church and its members, that even though the official church position is against it, there are plenty of members who are fine with it anyway.
An Alabama SCt case said IVF was unconstitutional because it violated the Seven Mountain mandate and God’s covenant with man or whatever. If you can think of something crazy, then it is a belief strongly held by many evangelicals. However, because of the lack of organization of evangelicals, probably many disagree.
We live in serious times that call for serious solutions from serious men and women. Trump, Vance, and RFK Jr. are those serious men.
Tulsi Gabbard is an example of a serious woman. This calls for a serious cartoon featuring people rolling up their sleeves and getting to work to save America. Here is that cartoon and it was inspired by another serious situation—World War II. A cartoonist named David Low drew serious British men rolling up their sleeves—ready to fight Hitler.
The DNC ended last week with the Democrats riding high on Kamala’s very un-democratic coronation. There was little talk about serious issues. Policy was replaced with nebulous talk of ‘joy’ and good feelings. The Democrats are not serious and if they somehow get elected, the chuckling Kamala will continue Biden’s destruction of America.
Someone did ask him and he replied back that he hadn’t been paying attention to Tucker lately and only remembered him from interacting with him in his ‘former life’. I imagine during his CNBC / early New Beacon times when he tried on his ‘New York Times but for the right’ hat, before his realization that the right wasn’t interested in objective, fact based reporting. If I were cynical I’d say it’s a bit too convenient that somehow all his fellow travelers keep end up supporting Nazis but he also always loses contact with them before they do. Almost like this serious non crazy right is a mirage that’s always honored in the breach.
