GOP insanity containment thread 3: more human than strom thurman

Guess your DMV doesn’t have a line of thousands of illegal immigrants registering to vote.

Even if you didn’t know he was disabled, it looked…like a kid who’s overcome with emotion at seeing his dad succeed? Like kind of what like what we should imagine parents and children doing?

Is it gay to get emotional when you are proud of your dad and he says how much he loves you?

Not nice to make fun of people just because they have never seen a kid who is proud of their parent before.

Here is the removed tweet, if anybody missed it:

If this was a GOP politician, I feel there’s a good chance they would try to use their kid’s disability as a selling point. I haven’t heard Walz talk about it at all.

They just see something different, something they don’t understand, and they pounce. In trying to label something weird, she exposes herself as weird

I’ve said this before but it’s remarkable how bullying has become the defining feature of the Republican Party, there’s not even the pretense that they care about lower taxes anymore.

It became a feature because it’s who Trump is and it worked. He ran completely on anger and grievance and won. If he loses in 2016 there’s a decent chance things are much different now.

Ann Coulter is like the hipster of bullying. She was doing it before it was cool.

I can’t tolerate the “dumbness” of Americans who fight tooth and nail versus immigration. What have they been doing for 250 years?

Well, technically, mostly nothing.

OK there’s one of these nutty “trump store” retail places on the main street of this little rural vacation town in central minnesota that I’m in right now. What I’m thinking is I go in there, find the cheapest thing there, bring it up to the counter, pay for it with a $100 bill, get change, and leave whatever it was on the counter and say “Oh I don’t need that any more” and walk out, thoughts?

If only people with at least 4 grandparents born in America were voting, Trump would win in a 50-state landslide. (Ann Coulter)

Is that even true tough; are there statistics on this? I guess it would hit the Latino population hard, but also the Boomers more than you might think. They have grandparents born in the late 19th century up to the early 20th century; millions of people immigrated during that time. And even if you have ancestors on the Mayflower, you also might have some of those. At the same time, the black population might be hit the least? And native Americans I guess.

Also how can you have more than 4 grandparents? Does this include adoption or something?

Sure, if you want to get shot.

let’s make a quick poll:

  • I’m an American with more than 4 grandparents born in the US
  • I’m an American with exactly 4 grandparents born in the US
  • I’m an American with less than 4 grandparents born in the US
  • I’m not an American but have grandparents born in the US
  • I’m not an American with no grandparents born in the US

I have two US born grandparents in the morning, four US born grandparents in the evening and 8 US born grandparents on Superbowl Sunday. Who am I?
