Beets are awesome. Accept no arguments to the contrary.
We have very similar ones here. We grew some in our garden, and they were delicious but not very big. Our local farmers co-op had better ones, in the summer we are able to get them there.

One of the most disgusting things I was made to eat during childhood was borscht.
I’ve never experienced it, but I hear that authentic borscht is prettay, prettay good. You’re either gonna need to go to Europe or know a nice old lady from the old country to get that.
