Not just that, but Republicans voted for another Republican to face a consequence. Can’t really believe it happened in this day and age. I would have thought that aiding and abetting people who want to kill them would be an uncontroversial sort of thing that Republicans would vote for other Republicans to face consequences for, if this were about 10 years ago, but that is not the world we live in now.

Surely whoever did that is cognitively incapable of doing so without leaving some kind of trail, though doing something about it would require some member of law enforcement somewhere to actually do their fucking job so I guess we’re SOL on accountability.
