Couple of weeks ago I was at Walmart. I was at the self-checkout when I heard some very loud yelling and thinking “ok, this is it, gotta be a nutjob with a gun”. Not quite, just some guy being led away in handcuffs by a couple of cops. They were taking him into the store jailroom, I guess. Not willingly, though. He was yelling “Don’t put me in that room! Take me to fucking jail! Take me to fucking jail!” If Walmart can afford a jail, Congress can.
Idk what it is with this Walmart. There is always, always, a cop car parked out front. Sometimes two. It’s always an adventure going there.

Sounds like every Walmart I’m familiar with except maybe the one in Scottsdale that my in-laws go to.
The public is definitely subsidizing Walmart security.
There’s a Walmart in Scottsdale? Without looking, ~corner of Shea and Pima would be my guess. If not, then definitely somewhere on the outskirts.
It’s Cactus and Tatum iirc, so border of Scottsdale and PV. My in-laws are pretty well off but my MIL is a huge penny pincher and they love themselves some Walmart.
