GOP Insanity Containment: Beets, Gazpacho, and Lube

If I’m flying there I’d want a good midwest strip club.

btw, we’ve been to NOLA already. could maybe do something outdoorsy, but I’m not that outdoorsy. Lot of people doing post vaccine in HI but have been there a few times already.

No you want to find a crummy strip climb next to a bail bondsman and be the biggest baller that’s ever been in the joint. People will be remembering that shit for years.

All the obvious choices are probably booked. Travel to luxury destinations is mega mega mega expensive with all the pent up demand.

That said, if he likes wine and/or fine dining, Napa. I would do NYC, but that’s obviously not for everyone. Montana all inclusive stay/play could also be great. If he’s super price insensitive, Blackberry Farm.

California will still have pretty serious restrictions in place in May right? I was just there for a couple weeks and indoor dining was very limited and the wineries were mostly outdoor only. It would still be fun though.

Napa sounds good, but we had fun in germany couple of years ago. If it’s foreign would have to be place with high vaccination. Maybe Italy, if they are fairly high. Where in Europe will be open for biz soon? Not gonna be fancy, as wife is middle class values (and makes most of the cash as a contingency employment/harassment lawyer).

edit: Just watched the sideways clip, and that’s basically what we’re working with (at least on a bad night).

The strip club next to the Alcoa plant in Indiana will be open with no restrictions and it is not fancy.

I dont know why every dumb conservative thinks college classes are exciting exchanges of ideas.

Most lectures just have the prof reading the same PowerPoint they sent to you at the beginning of the year.

Pre-pandemic, I was told the best strip clubs were in Florida, especially if you’re into Cuban women. If you want to gamble, there are casinos in Florida. Things will be open for you to do things. The weather should give you plenty of options for outdoor activities if you care about such things.

Travel to Italy for tourism is banned right now. Europe is somehow massively fucking up vaccination.

I’m that’s what America was founded up. White, male, land owners.

Oh wait. That’s ME!

In a month lotta places will be like this (at least in the US), want to beat the rush.

Yeah, I could see this being an issue, but don’t you run into the copyright issue that you alluded to earlier.

On a tangential note, as an old, I now realize that actually going to class is highly underrated. Like many here, I barely went and I did just fine. But how easy it is to learn something when you have a fucking expert explaining it to you and is more than happy to answer questions about anything you don’t understand?

Obviously some profs suck at teaching, but a lot of them don’t.

We’ve been long headed for zero reason to go to college, especially if every college prof lecture is on youtube.

Yeah, there’s probably like a million hours out there they could start reviewing for the good stuff.

Turning point had a bounty on professors in the last year. Totally normal.

Texting with friend. He’s suggesting albania or other Eastern europe. Anywhere open in May?

Gonna be hard to beat the russians as ballers in an albanian strip club.

If there is, it’s a few years in the past. This is part of a bill calling for an “intellectual diversity survey” of colleges that Florida Republicans have been trying to pass for several years. I don’t know if the lecture recording bit has always been a part of it or a new idea tacked on this year.

EU has a website and app.

Travel in EU looking kinda bleak, at least until june.

Not if you go to a really shitty Albanian strip club.
