Whoa.

Can’t be having any of that Social Justice nonsense!

I think I just had a stroke.

In the not too distant future, school boards will be populated with nothing but crazies because no intelligent, well-meaning person will want to deal with this insanity.

Probably correct, but definitely a missed opportunity to add UP mods to your list.

Looks like someone had a stroke while writing it.

This. I really think social media is the main catalyst for our descent into hell. Just listening to the idiots rant in the poker room, 90% of what they are angry about is shit they likely saw on facebook and never otherwise would have given two shits about.

The problem is everyone has found acceptance for whatever opinion they have on any topic. People don’t ever second guess themselves they just keep dropping a line until they find kindred souls. This causes the crazy to be nurtured and multiplied and dragged to all facets of life. People have their Facebook group, their forum, as their backbone to push their ideals and reinforce them.

Every single idea becomes an us vs them battle Royale.

It’s probably been a net positive for communities like LGBT being able to find acceptable and kindred spirits.

No doubt there are massive positives. I owned an internet access provider in 1996. I have been a huge proponent of the life changing properties it brought and brings. However the downsides suck pretty hard as well.

I don’t see a way to separate the good from the bad.

They tried to do a similar analysis of Bret Stevens, David brooks and Thomas Friedman columns but the researchers kept killing themselves before they got through 10% of them.
