Didnât Bobby Knight catch heat for saying that exact same thing about rape like 20 years ago?
I was thinking something like, âIf these communist demonrats retain power, all the God fearing men will be imprisoned and rape will be inevitable. Son, just bend over and enjoy it.â

Wasnât okay in Texas 30 plus years ago when Clayton Williams said it while running for governor.
But nothing bad will happen to him. Thinking we have regressed this far from 80s Texas mores.
Him, we got.
Are democrats too woke?
Jesus Christ

How the hell is that last part enforceable?
Seems totally unenforceable. But they are just trying to harass and badger and bullyrag trans people and their families.
Now, a prominent antiabortion lawmaker in Missouri, from where thousands of residents have traveled to next-door Illinois to receive abortions since Missouri passed one of the countryâs strictest abortion laws in 2019, believes she has found a solution.
An unusual new provision, introduced by state Rep. Mary Elizabeth Coleman (R), would allow private citizens to sue anyone who helps a Missouri resident obtain an abortion out of state, using the novel legal strategy behind the restrictive law in Texas that since September has banned abortions in that state after six weeks of pregnancy.
Coleman has attached the measure as an amendment to several abortion-related bills that have made it through committee and are waiting to be heard on the floor of the House of Representatives.

Anti abortion activists absolutely will not stop at the over turning Roe will lead to a quant federalism in regards to abortion. Theyâll immediately attempt a nation wide ban. I wouldnât be surprised if, as soon as the Supreme Court overturns Roe, a national ban becomes the new article of faith for Republicans
Because fuck you, duh
How far away are we from the death penalty in one or more red states for being transgender or getting an abortion?
Like, four years? Less?
So, following the arc of homosexuals in this country, we should be past all this in⌠about 15 years.
Huzzah
Is this just bait to get national Democrats to spend time addressing the issue so they can be portrayed as caring more about trans-people than the economy?
Trans people are the Ukraine of American politics. Should we defend them even if it makes the Armageddon of Republican victory more likely?
We should keep our mouths shut, win, and pass federal protections for them, while then giving a huge speech about it.
Democrats will talk about it and fail to ever do it, regardless of whether they win.
