The groomer avoider app - Shows the location of all groomers in the area so you can avoid them with your children
Carolyn starts with C. You know what else starts with C? Clinton!
Makes you think, doesnāt it?
Itās actually an old buzzword that is coming back around. Desantis and crew is the remix, but Anita Bryant sang the original back in the 70ās when she was trying to protect the right of schools to fire gay teachers and called it the āSave Our Childrenā campaign.
Someoneās going to shoot up Disneyland because of this grooming nonsense. These people are scum.
only a matter of time until Goofy is strapped when out in the crowd
Weāre planning on going to Disneyland next springā¦I really hope they can get this boycott thing really moving before then.
Thought you were talking about @goofyballer for a moment and was wondering what the hell I missed.
Itād true that Mamet is a reactionary moron, but that dosenāt take away from the many awful plays he has written.
i was choosing between Goofy, Pluto, and Jasmine.
We had my parents 50th at D-world. My very particular about his hair fifteen year old son had words with Goofy after Goofy mussed his hair at a character breakfast.
We kept joking that Goofy and some friends were going to jump us later in the day.
I truly hate Disney World/Land. The absolute worst price to fun ratio of anything Iāve ever done.
Another son labeled it the āgreatest money extracting device ever createdā. He forgot about the grooming part.
My wife worked for Disney for almost four years. Her job was fancy enough that we had a silver pass to all Disney properties for four people, as long as my wife or I was one of the four. Free parking, admission, and lots of other discounts too. My kids were at an age that we went pretty often. A nice thing about it being free is that you donāt feel pressure to get your moneyās worth. Everybody tired at 2PM? OK, letās leave!
She doesnāt work for them anymore, and I donāt think Iāll ever go back.
I donāt hate it but Iām not looking to go frequently either.
My rich Aunt and Uncle and their college aged kids go to Disney 4-5 times a year from Illinois. Seems a bit odd. They obv pay for all the stuff to make sure you get a top notch experience or whatever, but stillā¦
Itās not really supposed to be fun for you.
But it has to be some % fun for him, else he isnāt gonna be incentivized to shell out five grand + to bring his family here, no?
I think thatās part of the point of the newer stuff like the star wars/Harry Potter types? 30-50 year old parents get the nostalgia, young kids get the rides and whatever.
